Best Laid Plans....

Well, I did PLAN to be at the Barnhartvale Craft Fair, I really did. Unfortunately, I didn't plan to have everyone in the house get sick at the same time - almost! Actually, my daughter had it first and she's almost better now (touch wood). Then last Wednesday I got it (achy, sore throat, tired, feeling like #$%^...you KWIM)? I was down to just the really sore throat and the tired part, and honestly, I've done a fair before when I've felt under the weather, so I had all my stock/props packed up and ready to go last night. My husband and I usually pack the props in the van the night before so it's quicker, but last night my poor husband and my son got sick too - the kind where having easy access to the bathroom is a necessity - Ugh! So, I called the organizer this morning to let her know I'd be MIA today. I'm bummed - although, as I type this, my son is feeling a LOT better and eating again. His Dad, well, he's been in bed most of the day. Oh well. Now I'll have to come up with a plan B - and a way to get rid of my darn sore throat! I guess those tonsils are doing their job, but man, does it have to hurt like $!*^ while they are doing it?!

Hope everyone is feeling better than we are!
Take care,

Barnhartvale Craft Fair, Sunday, Nov 11th

I will be at the Barnhartvale Craft Fair on Sunday, November 11th, 2012 from 11:30 am to 4:30 pm. It's being held at the Barnhartvale Community Hall, located at 7390 Barnhartvale Road in, you guessed it, Barnhartvale! (Which, if you don't know where that is, it's an area of east Kamloops in the hills above the Dallas area where I live). This is a new fair for me this year and I'm really excited about it. All handcrafted items from local artisans. Hope to see you there!
